Hjejlen
Experience the Silkeborg Lakes from the world's oldest paddle steamer, Hjejlen. About 1.2 km from the campsite, you can climb aboard one of the many shuttle boats, which will take you on a wonderful cruise through the Silkeborg Lakes, all the way to Himmelbjerget and Ry.
Museum Jorn
Visit the Museum Jorn, situated close to the center of Silkeborg and Gudenåen. At the museum you can experience Asger Jorn's collection and over 100 of his own works. A visit to the museum is a must for anyone interested in art.
Museum Silkeborg
Visit Museum Silkeborg, the home of the world famous and very well preserved bog body, the Tollund Man. Here you can also experience the permanent exhibition, "Worklife in Silkeborg". The museum is within walking distance, just 1.8 km from the campsite.
AQUA Akvarium & Dyrepark
Experience life in the Danish freshwater lakes and streams, and get close to the cute otters. AQUA Akvarium & Dyrepark offers both indoor and outdoor experiences for the whole family, only 3.6 kilometers walk from the campsite.
Labyrinthia
Take up a challenge with the whole family, and find your way through the many mazes in the the World of Mazes and Labyrinths. Labyrinthia offers fun, play and learning for all, ca. 15 minutes drive from the campsite.
Silkeborg Rovfugleshow
Get up close to hawks, falcons, owls and eagles at one of the many shows held by Silkeborg Rovfugleshow. You can also enjoy your picnic in the beautiful nature, in one of the open or covered picnic areas. Silkeborg Rovfugleshow is located in Them, about 20 minutes drive from the campsite.
Art Centre Silkeborg Bad
Experience both Danish and international art in scenic surroundings at the Art Centre Silkeborg Bad. Close to the Art Centre, you can also find Silkeborg Bunker Museum, arranged in a personnel bunker from WW2. The Art Centre is located just 5 km from the campsite.
Dining in Silkeborg
In Silkeborg center, about 1.2 km from the campsite, you will find a wide range of lovely restaurants and cafes. Here you can eat dinner or take a break from your city or shopping tour.
Shopping in Silkeborg
Within walking distance, about 1.2 km from the campsite, you will find the center of Silkeborg, offering cozy pedestrian streets with good opportunities for shopping.
Himmelbjerget
Visit the 147 meter high Himmelbjerg in scenic surroundings in Ry. From the top you can scout all the way to Silkeborg and you get a fantastic view over the Silkeborg Lakes. You can sail all the way to Himmelbjerget in one of Hjejlens shuttle boats, departing 1.2 km from the campsite.
